Moso Bamboo - This is possibly the biggest of them all!
Origin: China
Height: 8-10m
Hardiness: -24 Degrees; Zone 5b

Use: Solitary specimen
One of the bamboos most in demand due to its sheer size potential.
In its native growing conditions this plant can grow to a staggering 20metres +, however in the UK it reaches an average of 10m. Canes can grow to a mammoth 7 inches in diameter making it one of the thickest canes available on the market.
In China these plants grow as a forest and are frequently harvested as a timber for construction.
While the 'Moso' can grow into giant proportions it is extremely well behaved making it very desirable for the UK garden.
